I’m generally not
a fan of credit cards; however, I’m a huge fan of using other people’s money
when possible. So I take advantage of
the Lowe’s and Home Depot 6 and 12 month same as cash promotions. Well, Lowe’s just gave me another reason to
use their card. In today’s mail I
received a list of all items purchased in 2009 on my Lowe’s credit card that
could be eligible for the expanded energy credit. This is exciting! I don’t have to go through my receipts
looking for items that qualify. Kudos to
Lowe’s for going the extra mile for their credit customers – they saved us lots
of time!
I called Home
Depot credit card customer service; they don’t know anything about sending out
the same type of statement. The
representative did give me the number to the Atlanta headquarters – which was
already closed for the day. I’ll post an
update when I know more.
